| Tattoo Aftercare |
- After 3 to 4 hours, remove the bandage.
- Wash the tattooed area gently but thoroughly with warm water and liquid soap.
- Rinse well, then pat dry with a clean towel.
- Apply ointment sparingly to the tattooed area and rub it in gently. (Use either vitamin A and D ointment or Webber vitamin E ointment.)
- Wipe off any excess ointment with a clean paper towel. The area should feel moist but breathable, not coated.
- Do not re-bandage.
- Repeat the process twice daily but always remember to wash the area before re-applying the ointment.
- Your tattoo should heal within 10 days but may need moisturizer for a few days longer.

- Be sure to keep the area clean, this includes making sure all clothing and bed sheets are freshly laundered.
- Stay out of saunas, hot tubs, pools and baths. Showers are fine but you cannot submerge your tattoo under water.
- Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight until its healed; this includes tanning salons as well.
- Wear light, loose clothing on the tattooed part of the body.
- If you exercise or sweat during any of you activities, be sure to wash the area afterwards and re-apply the ointment.
